BUSINESS & CORPORATE SPONSORS

The Links below are to people & companies that have helped or are helping me out with this "endeavour".  Please click through to their sites and see what they have to offer.

Satmap Systems produce the Active 10 GPS unit with OS mapping in a full colour, moving map display.

I've had one of these units for a while now and can't recommend it highly enough.  SatMap are very kindly loaning me the relevant mapping cards for each trail as I come to it.  The map cards have 25 and 50 thou OS maps installed and, in the case of route cards, have the trail waypoints preloaded.  Their website and software also allows to prep any route you're planning and then upload it to the unit.

I've got a couple of GPSs (gadgets...) and this is my favourite by a very large margin.  Go buy one and tell them I sent you - click their logo above to link to the site.

Powertraveller Ltd have very kindly supplied me with a "Powermonkey Explorer" solar rechargeable battery unit to help keep my myriad of electronic gadgets alive whilst I'm out camping along the South West Coast Path.  I've not tried it in "the field" yet but friends have them and swear by them!  Click through to their site on the image to the left and have a look at what they've got on offer.  I'll be penning a small piece for their site when I get back form the South West Coast Path.

I'm sure many of you know Cotswold Outdoors so they probably don't need any introduction per se.  Cotswold have kindly given me a fairly hefty discount on a lot of the kit I need to sustain my daft endeavours.  It works to their advantage though I guess as I seem to spend my life in teh shop!  Thanks to Chris and Angela at the Kemble depot and to Kirsty et al in the South Cerney stor
