PEDDARS WAY 5 - 9 Jan 2010
Given the forecast bad weather I thought flat old east anglia would be the safest bet for getting a walk done this week. The weather was generally ok, with most snow falling overnight. That said, the last 12 miles from Salthouse into Cromer were into a good 30-40kt headwind with the odd bit of driving snow. This was, at times, "emotional" to say the least! All in all though, a nice, easy walk through some really nice parts of the country. I suspect however that it would be heaving in the summer! I was privileged in that I met no other walkers (other than the odd dog walker) and had the trail to myself for 4 1/2 days - apart from the occasional deer, rabbit etc!
